What is it about Fridays that brings peace?
This Friday is bringing me such peace that I find myself counting my blessings with joy:
- Our propane is filled, our heat is restored, AND it took me half the time to unhook, get the tank filled, and set-up the RV again as it did the last time!
- My friend in Iowa sent me a text with a beautiful picture of snow and ice covering the ground AND I’m here and not there!
- I’m working from home AND getting beaucoup done.
- My daughter, Lily, and I have a very open weekend planned to just chill.
- I get to sleep in tomorrow AND can lounge in my PJs until noon.
- All the bills are paid AND there is still a little money left over.
- The campgrounds have all their Christmas decorations up – it’s quite a spread.
- My daughter, Leah, and her best friend Ashley will be headed back to
Georgia Monday. Lily and I are really looking forward to their return
home. - I have a church family that I can’t wait to reconnect with on Sunday.
- I have the honor and privilege of serving Jesus in a world that desperately needs Jesus with people who love Jesus. AND Jesus
isn’t in love with a future, more perfected version of me. He loves me
perfectly now. He’s just asking me to come as I am. - I can pray for the lost, brokenhearted, sick, and hurting people of this world because God hears my prayers. AND I can also pray with and love on the people God puts in my path right here in Georgia because He hears me and will respond.
Here’s praying that your Friday is bringing you peace AND joy.
