We’re heading out on the tour this week.
Preparations are being made. We’re packing up our gear and packing away what we won’t take. The storage unit is ready to be filled. Tents are rolled up neatly. We’re going through our checklists and checking them twice.
I find my emotions teetering from fear of the what if’s and then bouncing to the thrill of the possibilities. My heart mostly lingers on the possibilities.
After six months of pondering, planning, refining, worrying, dreaming, and replanning – it’s here. It’s time. Now, I just have to go and do, and trust God.
Our team (shown in this picture – except Jenny in the plaid – she’s headed to Haiti) are excited, ready, and dreaming of who they will get to meet. Hopefully, we’ll get to meet you. Maybe you might share your dream with us? Maybe you might allow us to pray for you? Maybe you might pray for us? Maybe God will work in the space between us and do something miraculous?
Maybe dreams might be discovered and launched as we step out in faith?
“This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid,
grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with
a childlike ‘What’s next, Papa?'”
