I'm sitting here looking over a lake, it's a perfect 80 degrees, there's a lovely wind blowing, birds are singing, and the sounds of the other campers are wafting up as they head out for a day of fun. Yeah. I'm liking this.

There is an enemy on the loose though, trying to steal this away. Lots of little things have been popping up - those little things that tend to get you off-kilter. Those things that can turn your emotions from peace to utter frustration in a matter of seconds. Yeah. My enemy has been on the prowl trying to steal and destroy.

Instead this morning we are praising God for all He did yesterday at the workshop. Our first workshop was a solid success. There were many wonderful stories. We are very much looking forward to more. (I promise to share more later.)

Many connections were made. God stoked up the fire in many hearts. We asked, "what is your biggest take-away" and several people shared, "I don't want to make any more excuses. The time is now to do something" came one person. Another said, "I am going fight the resistance." Another chimed in, "I will not give up."

The time is now. God is near. The excuses look pretty weak when we look at it in the light of God's Kingdom.
